Okay...so everyone knows I work for Finesmith Jewelery. A few weeks ago Yula put the Reign Jewelery set on sale and I had to snatch up the deal. That set went perfectly with the outfit I put together from different limited venues such as Cultural Shock and The Dressing Room. The whole outfit came out to be rather cute and soft look. Check it out

Lending a Helping Hand
While I was working at House of Xevion today the CEO, Vikeejeah Xevion, came in and put up five amazing dresses for sale. If that alone wasn't amazing enough she is donating 50% of the sales on four of the dresses to help those in Japan affected by the tsunami and the Black and White version of the dress all the sales will be donated.
Here is the black and white dress:
Also One of my good friends stopped by to keep me company a bit while I worked and she fell in love with one of the other color sets so I had to snap a photo of both of us. In the background you can also see all the other colors.
Vikeejeah has done a wonderful job in creating the outfits to help support Japan and all those affected.

The Finalist for Face of Beningborough!
Ok. So I have been hesitant to post who made it to the finals as some things have changed with the contest. The final 6 were announced:
Catlin Sahara
Amazon Silverweb
Celestial Lunasea
Kayma India
Draakje Dailey

She then gave the other girls a chance if they forgot to send the notecard to her but sent it to her manager and she added one more.
Cieleste Magic
A few days later we were all sent a notice that she has decided to review the style cards and that there will be 10 finalists. So here are the final 10!

Face of Beningborough Quest
Last summer one of my friends tells me to go to this store called House of Beningborough. She said they have some great formals you might like to wear while working. (I worked for Sweethearts Jazz Club at the time) So I teleported there and started looking around. There was a sign about their Face of Beningborough contest going on. I didn't think much of it because I figured it didn't apply to me. Then I started modeling in August and the end of October I decide I will try to do this contest that I saw some months ago. I turn in my photos that the wonderful Braden Adder did for the November contests....
Purple Dress: Kylie Blue Dress: Hearts Desire
These were the photos I turned in. I get selected to move on to the final portion of the month. We were asked to style an outfit as if we were going to a winter ball. I decided not to wear red or green thinking most people would and surprisingly a lot didn't. but I fell in love with the dress I wore. We all did the walk we were required too and then most teleported out to help with lag for the other girls. We waited and very quickly the list of the finalists for that month showed up. We had all made it. So now we had to wait til the start of the new year to find out who would be December's finalist then go on to the finals.
January rolls around and we get the info of what we are required to do. They have to narrow down the field from the 22 models they currently have as finalists of a month (so semi-finalists) to 6 to go on to the finals. We were each given two outfits but in different colors along with an outfit that was just special to us and ask to take photos as if they were to appear in a magazine. And once again Braden Adder came to my rescue. He took the photos and in less than two days got me my photos. The finalist have not been announced yet...but I wanted to share these photos with everyone...
Dress: Soraya in White (everyone was given this dress but different colors)
Outfit: Vortex in Silver (Everyone was given this outfit but different colors)
Dress: Dancing Peacock (Outfit special to me)
So now you see 5 different dresses/outfits from House of Beningborough. And who knew that fateful day in the summer I would have gone back and actually done the contest. I can't wait to hear who makes it to the finals!
Semi-Finalists: Amazon Silverweb, Kathrine Comet, Linnda Scofield, Jeanie Waydelich, Lauren Mureaux, Magicmirror Fayray, Memory Thorne, Sabine mortenworld, Catlyn Sahara, Enchanteddreams Bebb, Joselynl Ferber, Kayma India, Linda Bobbysocks, Lulu Breuer, Suzie Marewolf, Arion Vella, Celestial Lunasea, Cieleste Magic, Draakje Dailey, Elyna Carver, Leesa Donner, and Syra Hyun.

The Start of a New Year
Everyone usually seems to be excited about starting a new year....its like fresh start. I'm one of those people to a point. The way my 2010 ended it seemed I had lost half of who I was when my sister and I finished our biggest fight we have seen yet. But after a few minutes of calming down and talking things out we started our 2011 together with a promise to each other. We promised to grow both personally and with our relationship. We are both more alike than you could imagine and yet its not always good. We both have flaws and we have openly admitted them (at least our major ones) and plan to work together through them. These two photos are proof that no matter what. You can't destroy true friendship....a true bond between people who care about and love each other so much that even when something goes horribly wrong....they will still be there for you....it might take some time but they will be there.
These photos are our promise to each other. No matter what. We will be there.
But what happens when what seems to be a great start of the year quickly turns to tears not for just one person but for a whole family? Today, Jan. 3rd, Marks the last day I will see my RL brother in over a year. It is 3:30 in the morning and I have been sitting in the dark crying my eyes out for about 3 hours now and they just won't stop. My brother will fly out of St. Louis, Mo today heading to Hawaii for 3 months before he deploys to Afghanistan. For the first time since I can remember. I was not the one to go to him for a hug and tell him I love him.....he came to me and was the first to say I love you. That right there.....Broke my heart. What ifs are flying through my head and my heart. I'm nervous and scared, proud and worried, concerned and yet very grateful that my brother and so many men and women like him put their lives on the line for not only my freedom but for the freedom of everyone here in the USA. I know a lot of people are not fond of the war....hell....I'd be one of the first in line for saying they aren't fond of the war. But its not the troops who are causing it. They are going on orders to do so. They are going to defend and protect us. Those men and women that go over there deserve so much respect. I am forever indebted to my brother and all the other men and women of our military forces both here in the states and abroad.
Be Safe my brother. You will be in my heart, thoughts, and prayers every day.
